Gently heat brown sugar, light corn syrup and butter in a saucepan stirring until the butter is melted and the mixture mostly amalgamated.<br />
Pour sugar mixture into your baking tray.<br />
Arrange bread on top.<br />
Whisk eggs, milk vanilla and cinnamon together.<br />
Pour over bread and refrigerate 2-24 hours.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>In a large ovenproof skillet, saute the celery, carrots, onions and garlic in butter until tender. Stir in the barley, salt and pepper. Stir in 2-3/4 cups broth. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. <br />
Stir in 2 cups broth. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes.  Stir in half cup broth and bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer or until liquid is absorbed and barley is tender.<br />

** Keep in mind that I live at high altitude, so this will probably cook much faster for you than the recipe states, as this recipe is altered to cook where I live **</div>

Mix cornstarch, salt, and cayenne pepper in a shallow bow; pour coconut flakes in a separate shallow bowl. <br />
Working with one shrimp at a time, dredge it in the cornstarch mixture, then dip it in the egg white, and roll it in the coconut, making sure to coat the shrimp well. <br />
Place on the prepared baking sheet, and repeat with the remaining shrimp. <br />
Bake the shrimp until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is no longer transparent in the center and the coconut is browned, 15 to 20 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway through.</div>
