Description: Yummy and easy roast beef in the crockpot -- cooks for 22 hours but is soooo tender and juicy!

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:
  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 envelope (1 oz) onion soup mix
  • 2 tsp freshly ground pepper (I only use 1 tsp -- depends how much you like pepper!)
Steps:
  • Pour soy sauce and onion soup mix into slow cooker. Mix well.
  • Place chuck roast into slow cooker. Add water until the top half of the roast is not covered. Add the fresh ground pepper over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 22 hours.
  • Serve with noodles and pour the gravy over them. Yum.
