    Default Cola Chicken (LowFat)

    Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
    Description: Chicken with carrots, onions and a sauce

    Serving Size: 4

    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • 3 carrots, julienned
    • 1 onion, sliced into rings
    • 1 cup of ketchup
    • 1 cup diet cola
    Steps:
    • Brown chicken in a skillet with a lid. When chicken is browned add the carrots and onions on top.
    • Mix ketchup and cola together and pour over chicken and veggies.
    • Cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce is thickened.

    I love this recipe! A great weight watchers friendly dish!

    Serve with brown rice or mashed potatoes. So YUMMY!

    Wow! I made this with regular Coke (DH HATES diet!)and it was so good. It was so easy and just so tasty. Served it w/ brown rice. I can't say enough about it!

    Are you cooking it on the stove or in the oven Patty?

    I find it takes about 20 - 25 mins to thicken up on the stove, it will boil down to a delicious sauce

    I made it on the stovetop, but I wasn't sure how hot to let it cook, boiling, simmering or what. I'm not a cook. Anyhow, it was pretty thin, but served over rice and VERY VERY good!

    It is ok to let it come a very light boil or simmer... it has to cook down to make a delcious thick sauce.
