Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
Description: My family favorite! Easy, hearty home style chicken pot pie.

    Serving Size: 1 Pie

    Time: ~1 hour 15 minutes

Preparation: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    • 1 box (2 crusts) pie crust
    • 10 oz bag frozen peas and carrots
    • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
    • 1 can Cream of Potato soup
    • 2 12oz cans chicken, drained
    • 1 can whole potatoes, drained
    • 1 tsp season salt
    • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
    • black pepper to taste
    Steps:
    • Follow instructions on box pie crusts to get them ready to use.
    • Place frozen peas and carrots in a colander. Rinse with warm water to thaw. Drain well.
    • Drain can of potatoes. Dice into bite sized pieces.
    • In a large bowl, mix together soups and seasonings. Fold in chicken and vegetables.
    • Line a 9 or 10 inch pie pan with one crust. Fill with filling. Top with remaining crust. Crimp edges together. Make holes in the top for the steam to escape.

Also great with reduced fat soups. You can also use 2 cups diced, cooked chicken instead of the canned. If you don't have poultry seasoning, substitue 1/2 tsp sage and 1/2 tsp thyme.

Yum, Yum, Yum! DH loved it and we'll be sure to add it to the cookbook. I did use thyme/sage instead of poultry seasoning- and cajun seasoning salt that added a little kick. Loved it though- very easy!

I made this tonight and it is absolutely fantastic! thanks for the recipe. the only thing is that the recipe seemed to make much more than would fit in my pie pan. did I miss something? I seriously had enough to make a couple individual pies if i had the right pans. but I didn't so it went to waste. would this work in foil pans so they could be frozen for later? DH loved it and it was sooooooooo quick and easy. One of the best pot pies I've had.
