    Default Chocolate Chip Squares

Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
Description: Even easier to make than chocolate chip cookies, and more delicious than any chocolate chip cookie you've ever tasted.

    Serving Size: 1 9x13 Pan

    Preparation: Preheat oven to 350.

    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup butter
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 3 cups flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
    • 3 cups chocolate chips, divided
    Steps:
    • First layer: Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add to first mixture. Mix. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Pat 2/3 of the dough into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Reserve the remaining 1/3 of the dough for the top layer.
    • Second layer: Melt 2 cups chocolate chips. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk. Pour and spread over first layer.
    • Top layer: Drop the remaining 1/3 of the dough in "blobs" evenly over the top.
    • Bake at 350F for 25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

These squares freeze well. My DH likes to eat them right out of the freezer. I prefer to heat them up and serve with ice cream.

Ok...so did everyone else's come out gooey in the middle..almost like it could have cooked longer?
I was worried, but everyone loved them....
I actually made them today for dessert tonight..and will do them tomorrow for the intended dinner if I have time.

    But yes, they were awesome.
the kids kept saying they were good "chocolate chips" so as I looked at the real name of them tonight, it made sense why they said that...
    it was so yummy!

It would be fantastic with vanilla ice cream!!!
