    Default BBQ Meatloaf

Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
Description: Another meatloaf alternative with a BBQ flavor. (This is EGG free!)

    Serving Size: serves 6

    Time: 90 minutes

    Preparation: Thaw ground beef/turkey beforehand.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    • Meatloaf:
    • 1-1 1/2 lbs ground beef or turkey
    • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
    • 1/2 - 1 chopped onion
    • Sauce:
    • 1 cup tomato sauce
    • 1/3 cup water
    • 3 T vinegar
    • 2 T worcestershire sauce
    • 2 T mustard
    • 2 T brown sugar
    Steps:
    • Mix together 1/2 cup tomato sauce, bread crumbs, onion and ground beef/turkey. Place into loaf baking dish, making it into a loaf.
    • Whisk together, 1 cup tomato sauce, water, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, mustard, and brown sugar in small bowl. Pour over loaf.
    • Sometimes, I will pour 1/3 cup of the sauce into the loaf mixture and mix it up before I put it into the pan.
    • Bake at 400 degrees uncovered for 75 minutes. (You might want to put it on a baking sheet with raised edges because this is a FULL pan and it can bubble over.)

I made this tonight (using V-8 in place of the tomato sauce) and it came out great!
