    Default 20-Minute Chicken Parmesan

    Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
    Description: Easier, quicker way to a favorite Italian dish!

    Serving Size: 2-3

    Time: @ 20 minutes

    Preparation: chop parsley (if using fresh)

    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
    • 2 tbsp butter/margarine 1 3/4 cup tomato sauce
    • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup parsley
    Steps:
    • Using palm of hand (or you can pound it), flatten chicken to even thickness. Dip chicken into egg, then into bread crumbs to coat. In skillet over medium heat, in hot margarine, brown chicken on both sides.
    • Add tomato sauce.
    • Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes./ Sprinkle with cheeses and parsley.
    • Cover again and simmer for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

    I use fresh parsley and last night he said it looked and tasted like something you get in a great Italian restaurant! I also use my own homemade sauce.

    I made this tonight. It was totally last minute - I needed to make something with items already in the pantry.
    I didn't have any homemade sauce on hand , so I used a jar of baking sauce.

    Garrett cleaned his plate and dh said 3 times that he liked it. He even asked me to make it again.

    Shawn! This is a staple at my house. We have it once a week! I have made it for my parents and siblings and they LOVE it!
