    Default Macaroni and Cheese

    Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
    Description: The classic

    Time: 25-30 minutes prep

    Preparation: Prepare a glass 9x13 pan by spraying with cooking spray

    Ingredients:
    • 16 ounces macaroni noodles, cooked
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1 1/4 cup sharp white cheddar
    • 1 1/4 cup yellow cheddar
    • bread crumbs, about 1 cup
    • 4 cups milk
    • medium onion (or 1 Tbsp minced onion)
    • 4 Tbsp. butter
    • 8 ounces ham, cut into bite sized pieces
    Steps:
    • Cook the noodles according to directions, drain.
    • Sautee the onion in the butter
    • Whisk in flour to coat onion
    • Whisk in milk, making sure there are no lumps, cook for 6-8 minutes until thickened, or until back of wooden spoon gets coated, stir/whisk frequently
    • Remove from heat, add 1 cup of each kind of cheese, stir. Add in noodles and ham. Stir to coat.
    • Pour into baking dish.
    • Take reserved cheese (1/4 cup of each) and toss with bread crumbs
    • Top with bread crumb mixture
    • Bake for 20-30 minutes @ 375

    As an alternative, I used Canadian Bacon instead of ham.

    To make sure it's not grainy, make sure you remove the milk from the heat. I'm pretty sure the graininess comes from the cheese separating.
