Description: Quick and easy crockpot meal. Simple to put together, nice sauce for over rice or noodles.

Time: 10 minutes for CrockPot prep, 5 minutes for sauce prep

Preparation: None.

In the last 30 minutes while sauce is being prepared cover the breasts with foil on a plate and use this time to cook some rice to serve the chicken with.

Difficulty: Easy

  • 6 medium chicken breasts
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Paprika
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine, vermouth (optional)
  • 1 10 1/2 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 4 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream mixed with 1/4 cup of flour
  • Sprinkle chicken breasts lightly with salt, pepper and paprika
  • Place chicken breasts in CrockPot
  • Mix white wine/vermouth, soup and mushrooms until well combined
  • Pour soup mixture over chicken breasts in CrockPot
  • Sprinkle contents of CrockPot with paprika
  • Cover and cook on Low 7 to 9 hours (High 3 to 4 hours)
  • Remove chicken breasts and stir in sour cream mixture during last 30 minutes.
  • Serve sauce over chicken with rice or noodles.
