Description: Delicious, simple dish. I only recently added wild rice to this dish, I've always loved with with simply brown rice!

Preparation: Spray Pam on 9x13 casserole dish. Preheat oven to 350 deg. Mix together the soups, milk, sherry and melted butter.

  • chicken breasts
  • 1 1/3 c long grain rice (I use 1/2 brown and 1/2 wild)
  • cream of celery soup
  • French onion soup
  • 1/2 c sherry
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1/4 c butter, melted
  • slivered almonds
  • parmesan
  • Layer 1/2 the rice in a dish; follow with chicken, then 1/2 the soup mixture, rest of rice and rest of soup mixture. Top with slivered almonds and/or parmesan as desired. Cover with foil and bake approx 2 hours or until chicken and rice are done. (Rice should fluff with fork, there should be no standing liquid when done. It seems to take a bit longer if using wild rice.)
