Description: This is a delicious and easy breakfast that you make the night before. Great for overnight guests or holiday mornings! A great spin on classic french toast. Mmm Mmm good!

Serving Size: feeds about 6 people

Time: 10 minutes!

Preparation: 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
8-9 eggs
1 3/4 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
6-9 pieces of bread (depends on size of bread slices and pan size)

Difficulty: Easy

  • butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, eggs, milk, salt, bread
  • Melt butter in 9X13 pan. I do this by placing a glass pan on the stove with the burner on medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, coating bottom of pan. Arrange bread slices on top (don't stack, just use as much bread as will fit), set aside. Blend remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
