We used a wholemeal sourdough baguette.. and it was a lovely breakfast.. not too sweet. Went beautifully with the blueberries but would take any berry well and preserved stone fruits too. A dollop of marscapone and fruit would be beautiful and decadent.
I used light milk (2%) and it was lovely... and I didn't miss/wish that I'd used full cream.
