    Default chocolate hummus

Order nail wraps from a Jamberry Independent Consultant
a friend of mine posted this on facebook the other day
    http://vprblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/...no-really.html

I was so intrigued I had to try it. I tweaked the recipie a little bit in an effort to reduce the sugar, and I think it came out pretty good; the kids loved it!

    original recipie:
    1 can chickpeas, drained
    1 Tblsp honey
    2 tblsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    5 tblsp sugar
    3 Tblsp water

    I used:
    1 can drained chickpeas
    1 Tblsp peanut butter
    3 Tblsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    3 Tblsp agave syrup
    1 Tblsp water
    a dash (1/8 tsp) vanilla
    1/4 -1/2 tsp cinnamon

we served with honey wheat pretzels (instead of the grahm crackers recommended)

It was pretty good- tasted kind of like chocolate frosting! I saw some other recipies that actually used it in place of frosting on cupcakes and such ( though they were sweeter - some used nutella instead of p'nut btr which I bet would be good, too ) i the original recipe is nut-free

Okay, so I am a little intrigued, and a bit grossed out at the same time! I guess it is one of those things I just need to try.

I bet mine would love this. Maybe when I don't feel so tired I will make some.

Curious about it. It sounds kind of gross, but I'll bet it's surprisingly good.
